Job Overview:
Our Customer Success team is seeking an experienced Strategic District Partner for the Voyager Sopris Learning team to coordinate and facilitate effective and engaging professional learning services to our customers. The primary role of the Strategic District Partner will be managing an expansive K-5 reading intervention implementation in South Florida.
At the district level, the Strategic District Partner will work directly with the district’s curriculum team in developing and supporting a comprehensive implementation plan while responding and adapting to the ever-changing needs of a large, district-wide implementation. At the school level, the Strategic District Partner will act as an instructional coach/specialist by promoting the fidelity of implementation, facilitating professional learning services, and supporting teachers and students. In addition, this position may require overnight travel within Florida and, occasionally, other parts of the country in support of Voyager Sopris Learning’s suite of reading, writing, and math interventions.
Job Responsibilities:
Strategic Implementation & Customer Success
Collaborate with district leaders to develop comprehensive implementation plans including professional learning needs, timelines, and action plans to support the district’s strategic goals
Schedule and facilitate progress meetings at the cadence agreed upon by stakeholders and make appropriate changes to the implementation plan based on the outcome of these meetings
Proactively address issues or challenges that may present obstacles for achieving customer goal
Collaborate with Strategic Implementation Success Managers and school district leadership to accelerate time to value for customers in key accounts
Work collaboratively with the Manager of Professional Learning Facilitators, Success Managers, and Sales team to ensure the delivery of successful, engaging and effective learning experiences and maximize school district partner ROI
Provide presentations for high-level district leadership to support pre-sale opportunities and post-sale expansion in partnership with Sales
Professional Learning Delivery
Deliver in-person and virtual professional learning, customer support and planning meetings, and data review sessions virtually and in person
Facilitate professional learning sessions for educators across the country who use VSL programs
Coordinate scheduling of pre-training meetings with assigned facilitators as needed
Professional Learning Content & Training Assets
Develop and/or update training assets for virtual and in-person professional learning (agendas, scripts, presentations, manuals, packets, handouts, tutorials, errata sheets, video and audio files, etc.) associated for all active products that align with product pedagogy, research and instructional design
Communicate to the VSL Manager of Professional Learning Facilitators and respective Sales partners any needs to customize training assets to meet the needs of the customer
Facilitator Coordination & Communication
Communicate district needs with assigned facilitators to align messaging and any specific details around the professional learning needs of the cohorts
Communicate training plans and district needs to PLFs assigned to specific initiatives
Coordinate large training initiatives by participating in implementation planning meetings and conference calls, planning and executing logistics
Operations & Resource Management
Coordinate with Training Operations team regarding:
Accuracy of purchased service/billable days by customer
Scheduling and assigning resources to professional learning sessions (virtual or face-to-face)
Craft stories based on case studies and implementation success
Continuous Improvement & Professional Growth
Review survey data and apply the feedback toward professional growth and training refinement
Stay abreast of the latest research in the area of delivery and share those with others within our organization
Technology & Reporting
Utilize various types of technology and systems with proficiency to perform job requirements
Regularly communicate work status and issues related to supervisor
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in education required. Master
