Job Overview:
Riverview Psychiatric Center is currently recruiting for an Intensive Case Manager to work in their Outpatient Services department. This position provides professional services work in the area of intensive case management for high-risk mental health clients during their treatment at Riverview Outpatient Services and, for some patients, their discharge from the care and custody of the DHHS Commissioner. As an Intensive Case Manager, you will act as a single identifiable support in a comprehensive and individualized approach while in the community ensuring basic living needs are met and assisting clients in gaining access to medical and psychiatric requirements, rehabilitation, social, peer, educational, psychological support services. You will directly monitor client integration progress and overall service delivery system. Applicants must demonstrate an understanding of/worked within a comprehensive community mental health system.
Minimum Qualifications: Licensing Requirements:
A Bachelor's Degree in one of the Social or Behavioral Sciences and four (4) years' experience in professional community mental health work. A Master's Degree in Social Work may be substituted for two (2) years' experience. Equivalent work experience in professional level mental health work may be substituted for education on a year-for-year basis.
Licensing Requirements:
You must have the ability to obtain a Social Worker (LSW) license as issued by the Maine State Board of Social Worker Licensure.
