Who we are:

The Product Learning Platform engineering team plays a pivotal role in our organization. We are responsible for the experimentation platform and feature switches library, both of which play a critical role in product development. These services serve a wide range of stakeholders, including all end-users and internal teams such as Product, AI, Marketing, Ads, and Sales. Additionally, we develop essential tools and libraries that cater to various use cases across X.

What you’ll do:  

• Build and maintain powerful web applications using React and Node

• Work on all levels of the web stack (JavaScript/React/Angular Front-end, Node.js APIs, Trino, SparkSQL)

• Lead the architecture design of small, mid and large-sized projects

• Collaborate closely with other software engineers, data engineers, and designers

• Develop strong skills and best practices internal and external to the team through participation in design and code reviews

• Take an active role in team processes, and product decisions. From using data and user feedback to help prioritize, to owning feature switches end-to-end, you’ll be engaged to do more than just writing code

• You will empower people across the globe to connect and communicate.

Requirements:

• 4+ years full-stack development experience

• A strong technical background with experience using modern web technologies such as Node.js, React, and Redux for front end and Java/Scala for backend

• Ability to take on complex problems, learn quickly, and persist towards a good solution

• A detailed approach to writing tests and high quality code
