Commercial Insurance Placement Specialist- Hybrid

Brown & Brown is seeking a Commercial Insurance Placement Specialist for our team in Albuquerque, New Mexico!

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Assist with and attend appointments with Carrier Partners
• Return phone calls as delegated to carriers and or marketing representatives
• Foster and maintain carrier relationships
• Provide assistance and support to the Marketing Manager
• Attend renewal meetings and carrier meetings on a weekly basis
• Review submissions received from producers (new business) and account managers (renewals)
• Follow up on quotes from markets
• Create, update, and maintain marketing log to track progression of quotes from markets
• Follow up with producers and/or account managers for additional information
• Complete insurance proposals for new and renewal Business
• Prepare accounts to bind coverage and secure all the necessary signed documents
• Work directly with sales and service teams on completion of account analysis for new and renewal accounts
• Work on rate comparisons and analysis for new and renewal accounts
• Interpret loss runs and historical loss analysis
• Work with producers to improve daily processes to make them more efficient in the marketing process
• Work closely with the Claims Manager

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

• 1+ years’ experience in Property & Casualty, preferred
• Property & Casualty License, a plus
• Familiarity with the appetite, coverage, programs, and guidelines of Property & Casualty insurance carriers, a plus
• Experience using AMS360 or skills to learn software program at an accelerated ability, a plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, required
• Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills, required
