Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated person to join us in testing solutions for Insurance/Reinsurance risk modeling. You will be responsible for testing the software in an agile environment. We are looking for a candidate who can comprehend new technologies, come up to speed quickly and adapt to evolving requirements.
- Lead efforts to develop, document, implement & improve QA processes and procedures to provide more effective quality methods within the group in support of providing quality products.
- Ensure a comprehensive understanding of current applications, domain knowledge and business requirements.
- Collaborate with peer groups across the company to improve overall product quality by emphasizing defect prevention throughout the development process.
- Communicate & mitigate critical issues and status updates promptly.
- Standardize/improve peer review/audit process
- Conduct Gap analysis for Test Coverage and Test efficiency on a regular basis & recommend/implement solution.
- Analyze client needs & suggest and implement process improvements/best practices and change initiatives.
- Coach peers and subordinates on the QA process, implement best practices and provide guidance as needed.
- Facilitate knowledge upskilling of team members via well documented & updated training material & implementation of a well designed & robust training program/knowledge sharing sessions.

Qualifications
Essential
- Minimum of bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering or Mathematics.
- Minimum 12-15 Years’ experience working in an Agile software development team.
- Knowledge of C#, C++, Java, or any other object-oriented programming language.
- Strong understanding and hands-on experience with large data management tools including but not limited to SQL/R/Python and Excel.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Good analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
- Experience in working with global teams.
Desirable
- Experience with building and validating numerical probabilistic models in engineering, science or mathematics is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of insurance/reinsurance.
- Experience in working with large datasets.
