Senior Mobile Architect

As a Mobile Senior Architect in Credera’s Technology practice, you will lead teams (usually 2-8) in architecting, implementing, and delivering mobile strategies. Our projects include creating custom native or cross-platform apps, implementing responsive and hybrid web applications, working in a full-stack solution to support multiple customer engagement channels, and optimizing customer acquisition and engagement.

On a typical day, you might expect to engage client leadership to understand their mobile customers’ challenges and architect a solution to address them, lead teams in designing apps and services that fit within a mobile solution, drive technology and release process improvements to accelerate mobile delivery, or plan or execute a successful product launch. You will also serve as the day-to-day project team leader, set up product backlogs, code repositories, and build/release management tools as needed. On a weekly basis, you’ll communicate with client stakeholders on the project status and craft and deliver presentation decks in client stakeholder meetings.

WHO YOU ARE:

• You are an experienced, hands-on software architect that has been in the industry or technology consulting for at least 8 years.  You spend at least 25% of your time actively developing code.
• You have a passion for mobile technology breadth and keep yourself up to date on the latest mobile application development technologies and trends across all software development disciplines and processes. You educate your team on best practices, design patterns, and development tools and libraries.
• You have a deep understanding of multiple open technology development stacks (listed above) across mobile and web UX, APIs, 3rd-party integrations, cloud services, and data platforms. You are well-versed in different software development methodologies and can clearly communicate the benefits and tradeoffs of each. 
• You are accomplished at mentoring, leading, and developing others.  You currently lead teams that develop complex, high-volume, mission critical enterprise solutions using a variety of different open-source components and are deployed in a highly available environment.
• You have strong communication and interpersonal skills and can engage customer business and technical leadership. You educate clients on different mobile capabilities such as privacy, push notifications, feature flags, and analytics. You can handle complex organizational dynamics to deliver a solution to a client’s satisfaction.
• You can drive large-scale business development and change management. You are comfortable with developing business cases and justifications that grow the customer relationship and satisfaction. You are well-versed with contract terms and conditions.

• We typically work in an Agile methodology and own the project from start to finish
