Job Description
The Plant Communication Manager is responsible for designing, creating, implementing, and managing the plant’s communication strategy, which is aligned with the company’s objectives. The role includes designing, creating and releasing internal and external communication messages, managing media requests and building relationships with all relevant internal stakeholders. The Communication Manager collaborates with various teams to create and publish communication materials which ensure consistent messaging and branding to meet the company’s goals.
The Communication Manager will also be responsible for creating and implementing initiatives that support employee engagement, foster a positive company culture, and strengthen the collaboration and the identity as part of the international production network.
Essential Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Developing and implementing communication activities for plant management and employees that align with the organization’s (Semiconductor Operations) goals, key messages and communication strategy.
- Developing and implementing communication activities that are tailored to the specific needs of the plant including crisis communication.
- Creating and managing content for various internal and external communication channels e.g. social media publications and video messages, websites and press releases, including alignment with all relevant stakeholders.
- Manage external communication activities and community engagement , e.g. plant visits, annual local media event, public presentations by plant management.
- Collaborating with different teams and departments to ensure consistent messaging and branding across company-wide communication channels.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of communication activities.
- Creating and implement initiatives that support employee engagement.
- Support Semiconductor strategy of open communication and collaboration across sites, functions and hierarchy.
- Support the change initiatives within the post merger integration project.
- Domestic and overseas travel required for onboarding phase.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- Master degree in Communication, Marketing or similar qualification
- 5 years of professional experience in a similar role
Preferred Qualifications:
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong interpersonal skills, able to work cross-functional and cross-hierarchy
- Knowledge of state-of-the art communication technology and trends
- Good understanding of company strategy, goals and objectives
- Creativity and the aptitude to think outside the box
- Excellent project management skills
- Experience working collaboratively in local and international teams
- Moderation skills and organizational talent for events

The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $115,000 - $125,000. Within the range, individual pay is determined based on several factors, including, but not limited to, work experience and job knowledge, complexity of the role, job location, etc. Your Recruiter can share more details about the specific salary range for this position during the interview process.
