Position: Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Specialst

Job Overview: Join our team as the Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Coordinator, where you'll play a vital role in ensuring a safe and compliant work environment. As the EHS Coordinator, you'll oversee various aspects of environmental, health, and safety programs to promote employee well-being and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain EHS programs and policies to ensure compliance with regulations and company standards.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and risks, and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Provide training and guidance to employees on EHS procedures and protocols to promote a culture of safety awareness.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address EHS concerns and implement best practices.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to EHS activities, incidents, and compliance reports.
• Stay current on EHS regulations and industry trends to proactively address emerging issues and opportunities for improvement.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in EHS coordination or related roles, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Strong knowledge of environmental regulations, occupational health and safety standards, and industry best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Certification in EHS-related disciplines (e.g., CSP, CHMM) preferred but not required.
