On ‘Airbus Way’ you will find the Airbus U.S. Manufacturing Facility for commercial aircraft. Opened at the Mobile Aeroplex at Brookley in 2015, the facility produces A320 Family aircraft and added a second product line for the A220 in 2019. Position Summary: Responsible for defining, measuring and managing the quality requirements for A320 Family aircraft assembly jigs, tools, and measurement systems at the Final Assembly Line (FAL) - USA.

Your Challenges:

• Define Quality Assurance (QA) requirements in the technical specifications for Airbus Jigs, tools and measurement systems.

• Coordinate and lead QA measures with Jigs, tools and measurement systems suppliers and monitor their implementation.

• Participate in supplier evaluation, pre-development production concepts, defining testing characteristics, and verifying that new production and control means align with established requirements.

• Define and conduct all relevant QA activities (Verification and validation, measurement system analysis, inspection plans…)  

• Conduct product testing in manufacturer and purchaser sites. Including but not limited to acceptance, commissioning and validation tests from small standalone tooling to entire production lines and integrated industrial systems. 

• Coordination of logistical activities related to testing and support coordinate metrology tasks on new and in production means.

• End to end non-conformity management during the design, manufacturing and commissioning phases for all relevant products. Including investigation, correspondence, resolution and documentation.
