YOUR ROLE

We are looking for a Production Operations Manager to join our team to take care of the logistical support for our photo and video production needs. The Production Operations Manager is a member of the Art Department and reports to the Art Director. The main functions of the Production Operations Manager include the pre-production, production, and post-production organization of all lifestyle / studio photography and video projects. These responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Coordinating schedules and creative calls with photographers, and talent
  • Communication with agencies
  • Booking talent, travel, and lodging
  • Pulling and shipping products for shoots
  • Coordinating permits
  • Coordinating with production houses
  • Photo DAM organization and cataloging
  • Strong understanding of asset deliverable expectations for both video and still. ie: aspect ratios, file spec/formats, video codec, etc.
  • Studio lighting setup, technical competence in camera equipment, and moving/organizing equipment.

In short, this role ensures that everything is dialed for photo and video shoots to run smoothly and then assists in managing the deliverables, managing invoices, and owning the post-production timelines for all visual projects.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist Art Director with all lifestyle photoshoots from pre-production to execution to post-production. This could include helping source talent, pulling and shipping products, permitting, setting up creative calls, location scouting, release forms, drafting contracts, understanding insurance coverage, coordinating schedules with photographers, crews, and talent, organizing travel, assisting on set, and managing and organizing/tagging deliverables.
  • Manage all studio productions from pre-production to execution. This will include studio bookings, equipment rentals, model agency communication and bookings, travel, lodging, studio setup/take down, day-of-shoot logistics, call sheets, and invoicing.
  • Manage and catalog Stio's DAM system with all deliverables and metadata.
  • Manage and catalog Stio’s video asset library
  • Manage invoices and administrative work

YOUR EXPERIENCE

  • 3+ years of experience in production management
  • Excellent organizational and multi-tasking ability
  • High level of communication skills & record of past experience
  • Proven experience as a production assistant or a passion for the industry
  • Attention to detail
  • Resourcefulness and problem-solving
  • Project management experience is a plus
  • Understanding and knowledge of Adobe Creative software
  • Ideally, this person will be based in Jackson, WY or Salt Lake City, UT
