The KLA Global Workplace Services (GWS) team is passionate about enabling the business goals and company culture through the delivery of workplace environments and services that foster teamwork, innovation and productivity. Our team runs a worldwide portfolio of over 3 million square feet, 135 sites and over 12,000 employees. In addition to ensuring the workspace and manufacturing facilities operate seamlessly, this group also provides employee and site services, such as cafeteria, transportation, security, and safety. The team is responsible for all construction and site improvement work to enable the business needs as well as align with the financial requirements.Job Description/Preferred Qualifications
The KLA Global Workplace Services (GWS) team is passionate about enabling the business goals and company culture through the delivery of workplace environments and services that foster teamwork, innovation and productivity. Our team runs a worldwide portfolio of over 4 million square feet, 135 sites and over 15,000 employees. In addition to ensuring the workspace and manufacturing facilities operate seamlessly, this group also provides employee and site services, such as cafeteria, transportation, security, and safety. The team is responsible for all construction and site improvement work to enable the business needs as well as align with the financial requirements.
This USA country leader position will own and drive KLA’s long-term real estate global portfolio strategy, evolution, and innovation in support of the company’s strategic objectives and plans. The individual will lead a team to pursue multifaceted improvements, both in service and spend improvement for operating expenses and capital expenditures. The portfolio is across USA, around 40 locations, 1.7M sq.ft., and nearly 35 leases.
Responsibilities include:
Facilities Operations and Management
- Lead the planning, construction and maintenance of facilities, equipment, and buildings.
- Design and lifecycle management of all facilities and equipment.
- Develop and maintain workspace (clean room, lab & offices) that builds a work environment enabling collaboration, innovation, productivity, and destination of choice.
- Ensure high level of service for transportation, cafeteria, coffee bars and other services.
- Lead USA Facilities Account Management – Conduct routine 1 on 1 with KLA Leaders, support cleanroom, lab, and offices space requirements.
- Lead all aspects of building space allocation and layout, communication services and facilities expansion.
- Ensure all facilities meet established environmental and safety control requirements in partnership with Global EHS and security team.
- Collaborate with the business continuity team on disaster preparedness policies and procedures.
- Manage the portfolio KPIs, space utilization rate and budget spend.
Space Planning and Projects
- Develop space roadmaps for cleanroom, lab, and offices to meet business needs.
- Lead site planning and design for new building construction, remodels, cleanroom, and lab installs, capacity planning, space planning, and engineering.
- Develop and manage budget/timeline for projects.
Real Estate Management
- Drive proactive planning and management of the region's real estate portfolio and leases.
