About the role

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and driven Project Manager to lead and manage Commercial Construction projects from initiation through completion. This role is ideal for a proactive professional with a strong background in construction management, exceptional organizational skills, and a track record of delivering high-quality results. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all phases of construction, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, subcontractor coordination, and on-site execution. You will ensure that projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and in compliance with all quality standards and regulatory requirements.


Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Coordination

·       Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.

·       Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project specifications are met.

·       Obtain necessary permits and licenses for construction projects.

Budget Management

·       Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring costs are controlled and within agreed-upon limits.

·       Monitor expenditures and implement cost-saving measures where possible.

·       Approve and process invoices and change orders.

Team Leadership

·       Lead and manage project teams, including subcontractors and site workers.

·       Foster a positive and collaborative working environment.

·       Ensure all team members understand their roles and responsibilities.

Quality Control

·       Oversee all construction activities to ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards.

·       Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and address any issues.

Collaboration & Communication

·       Maintain regular communication with clients and provide updates on project status and address any concerns.

·       Prepare and present project reports to stakeholders.

·       Resolve any conflicts or issues that arise during the construction process.

Risk Management

·       Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.

·       Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.

·       Address and resolve any unforeseen challenges promptly.



Ideal Candidate Profile

·       Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial construction project management.

·       Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.

·       Proficient in Procore and Scheduling Software.

·       Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

·       Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

·       Proven problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

·       Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously when necessary.

·       Adept at coordinating work in active environments that remain operational during construction.
