Unit Clerk - Emergency Services

This position requires rotating shifts: 07:00–15:00 and 15:00–23:00.

Essential Job Duties:

1. Greets and assists customers to provide information and access to appropriate resources.
2. Promotes high quality patient care by supporting the physician order process and maintenance of the medical record.
3. Assists the healthcare team by being fiscally responsible in the ordering supplies and items necessary for departmental operations.
4. Provides for a clean and safe work environment.
5. Contributes to a high performance work environment by maintaining specific knowledge and skills needed to perform tasks according to policy and procedure at Good Samaritan Hospital.

 

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent
• Licensure: Not applicable
• Experience: Exposure to healthcare work environment and secretarial skills preferred. Basic knowledge of computers.
