Senior IFRS Expert (d/f/m)

<h2><b>Summary Statement</b></h2> <p> </p> <p>Against the backdrop of increasing demands on reporting and the development of governance processes within the framework of financial reporting, we are looking for a Senior IFRS Expert (f/m/d) to expand our Group Accounting team, with a focus on Accounting Principles, as soon as possible.</p> <h2><b>Duties &amp; Responsibilities</b></h2> <p> </p> <ul> <li>Technical coordination and responsibility for implementing requirements within the framework of financial reporting; involvement in the preparation of IFRS consolidated financial statements</li> <li>Evaluation of new statutory accounting regulations and their impact on reporting</li> <li>Support of subsidiaries in all accounting matters as well as coordination activities in complex tax issues</li> <li>Contact person for internal and external stakeholders (e.g., shareholders, auditors, regulatory authorities, etc.)</li> <li>Preparation of complex special analyses and evaluations, derivation of measures and proposals including possible risk/opportunity assessments</li> <li>Development, application, and control of uniform accounting and group policies within the group</li> <li>Proactive assessment of business processes and their impact on group accounting</li> <li>Leading and participating in projects related to the strategic development of the group</li> <li>Preparation and execution of additional internal and external reports such as bank reports or management reports</li> <li>Creation and updating of training materials and implementation of appropriate training measures within the group</li> </ul> <h2><b>Qualifications</b></h2> <p> </p> <ul> <li>Successfully completed subject-specific degree with a clear reference to group accounting</li> <li>Excellent knowledge of international accounting (IFRS)</li> <li>Relevant professional experience (at least 8 years) in transaction advisory, audit-related consulting, or auditing</li> <li>Proficient in MS Office</li> <li>Knowledge of SAP or experience with SAP FI is desirable</li> <li>Analytical skills, strong communication and teamwork abilities, and a high solution orientation</li> <li>Fluent in German and English</li> </ul> <h2><b>Benefits</b></h2> <p> </p> <ul> <li>Open corporate culture, regular team events, and an exciting international working environment with modern, mobile workspaces</li> <li>Systematic onboarding program for an optimal start</li> <li>Individual support and development through internal (Ottobock Academy) and external training measures</li> <li>Company pension scheme and capital-forming benefits, health management offerings, and many other advantages</li> </ul>
