Job Summary: This is a full-time position on our Commercial Lines-Group Captive Team (CL). The Account Executive/Sr. AE will be the relationship manager and strategic advisor on an assigned book of business.  You will work with the Account Management Team to manage your book of business. You will strategize in cross-selling/rounding out coverages and work to ensure a seamless renewal process for clients and effectively deliver the resources of NFP to our clients. You will provide expert guidance on all commercial coverage lines. While specialized knowledge in Group Captives is ideal, it can be obtained on the job with CL experience. You will interact with clients on a day-to-day basis while developing and maintaining relationships with both client and carrier representatives. You will work with the Team to prepare applications, specifications and marketing strategy for new business as well as the renewals of assigned clients. Work is completed with a significant amount of independent discretion. 

This is a full-time position. We offer the flexibility of a hybrid schedule with at least a couple of days a week in our Wilmington, DE or Rehoboth, DE offices. Working in the office is required and is essential for fostering collaboration and career connections. The Account Executive will also accommodate approximately 30% travel within an assigned East Coast territory. Title and Salary will be commensurate with experience and knowledge.

Key Deliverables: Provide expert guidance to clients on all  CL coverage lines, with specialized knowledge of Group Captives. Demonstrate servicing and overseeing a book of business, including complex Property & Casualty risks. Provide strategic insight, market intelligence, and innovative risk solutions.

  • Partner closely with Account Management, claims and loss control teams to identify coverage enhancements, develop submission strategies, and deliver tailored client solutions that drive retention and growth.
  • Lead stewardship, pre-renewal and renewal meetings, and coordinate internal subject matter experts to deliver a comprehensive client experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain exemplary service relationships with clients; serve as a subject matter expert on Property & Casualty coverages, carrier offerings, and risk financing strategies.
  • Assist in the preparation of renewal proposals in collaboration with Account Management teams
  • Act on and complete client requests throughout the policy lifecycle, partnering with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate execution.
  • Collaborate regularly with Account Management, claims and loss control teams to develop renewal strategies, address client concerns, and enhance client communications.
  • Lead client meetings and presentations, providing strategic insight and fostering relationships.
  • Maintain a focus on client retention, satisfaction, and organic growth within an assigned BOB.
  • Proactively resolve client issues and identify opportunities to enhance coverage, improve program structure, or reduce total cost of risk.
