Statkraft is currently Europe’s largest producer of renewable energy based on a large fleet of operating assets across multiple technologies. In addition, we have high growth ambitions in renewable development within hydropower, onshore wind, solar, batteries and offshore wind.</p><p>We are looking for a Senior Tax Advisor. The position will be part of the Finance team in Business Area Nordics and will act as tax senior advisor in the business area.  The purpose of the role is to provide tax analysis and tax assessments by combining tax competence with knowledge of the business and analytical skills.</p><p><strong>Your role:</strong></p><ul><li>Proactively assess and provide analyses of resource rent tax and other tax effects for Norwegian hydropower and wind production, including tax effects of new investments and regulatory developments</li><li>Provide tax assessments related to transactions, projects and energy contracts</li><li>Internal and external tax reporting for Statkraft Energi AS, covering calculation of ordinary income tax, resource rent tax, property tax and natural resource tax</li><li>Drive process improvement and digitalization related to tax calculations and reporting</li><li>Participate in the tax network in the Statkraft Group</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><p><strong>Your profile:</strong></p><ul><li>Have an interest in regulations, valuations and how taxation influences business decisions in the energy industry</li><li>Commercially oriented</li><li>Proactively taking initiatives for tax analyses and improvements</li><li>Ability to communicate complex topics and analyses to different stakeholders within and outside of the Statkraft organization.</li><li>Team player collaborating closely with the finance teams and business teams</li><li>University degree in accounting/finance or similar with relevant experience</li><li>Fluent in Norwegian- verbal and written communication</li></ul><p><em>Statkraft manages critical infrastructure and services in several countries.
