Project Accountant

Our client, a growing construction company, is seeking a Project Accountant to join their team!
Responsibilities:Support job setup: verify contracts, budgets, and contact detailsTrack and analyze job costs vs. budget; report on profitabilityAssist with billing, lien waivers, and supporting documentationReview subcontractor payment draws; manage lien releases and complianceProcess and code invoices, pay applications, and POs per contract termsMaintain and reconcile project budgets, forecasts, and cost reportsCoordinate with title companies and subs on waivers and documentationEnsure accuracy in accounting systems and support project closeoutCommunicate with vendors/subs to resolve billing issuesAssist department heads with ad hoc projects and database updates
Qualifications:1+ year of experience in accounting within the construction space
