Huntsman is seeking an Operations Maintenance Coordinator supporting the Advanced Materials Division located in Akron, Ohio. This position will report to the Manufacturing Excellence Manager.

Job Scope

Directs maintenance priorities and schedule for the Huntsman Akron Plant. Coordinates all site maintenance activities and has a thorough understand of the work order process and production/shipping priorities to ensure maintenance is handled effectively and efficiently. Communicates with all site stakeholders and manages all priorities to execute work.

As the Operations Maintenance Coordinator you will: 

•     Gatekeeper for Work Notification approval for entire plant site. Review all new work notifications and Work Order backlog.

•     Direct maintenance scheduling and planning with operations capacities, need dates, and production priorities.

•     Ensure accuracy of maintenance schedule.

•     Pre-planning analysis for maintenance and construction work. Analysis of job scopes for maintenance and construction work to be completed.

•     Verify completion of Work Orders and close work orders in SAP system.

•     Work with site engineering, reliability, and other resources as necessary. Review and make changes to site PM plan with SME’s.

Other General Responsibilities: 

•     Work collaboratively with team members with different backgrounds and perspectives.

•     Assists other employees in accomplishments of Huntsman company goals.  Follows instructions and performs other duties as may be assigned by supervisor.

•     Participates in Environmental, Health, & Safety initiatives as set forth by the company.  Participates in and completes company-required training programs.

Required Qualifications:

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

The candidate must have an unrestricted right to work for Huntsman in the United States.

• Associate degree (2 yr) in Process Technology Or 5 years petrochemical industry experience in operations, maintenance, or related field.

Specific Skills and Knowledge:

• Must have a level of proficiency with Internet, Email, and Microsoft programs.
• Proficiency in SAP is desired.
