Auditor - Milwaukee

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop audit checklists utilizing appropriate regulatory sources. 
• Develop audit programs defining scope of audits. 
• Perform audits according to all department and professional audit standards. 
• Analyze and test documentation to determine level of compliance to the audit checklists. 
• Use Surveillance equipment for live and recorded observations to determine level of compliance. 
• Interview casino personnel. 
• Document and report audit results to Gaming Commission and casino management. 
• Maintain administrative reports and logs. 
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements (Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities):

•  High School Diploma or equivalent; post-secondary degree preferred. 
• Two - three years related experience in a Native American gaming environment. 
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license issued by the Forest County Potawatomi Gaming Commission.
• Must have working knowledge or ability to possess working knowledge of Indian Gaming Regulatory Act, Forest County Potawatomi Tribal-State Gaming Compact, Bank Secrecy Act, National Indian Gaming Commission Internal Control Standards, Minimum Internal Control Standards, and Standard Operating Procedures for casino departments. 
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills as well as effective written and verbal communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.   
• Integrity and professional ethics including strict confidentiality.   
• Experience working with Microsoft suite of products, including Teams.   
• Must have the ability to uphold strict confidentiality. 
• Must be able to work independently and as part of a team as well as be willing to work non-traditional hours and/or travel on occasion.
