Job Description
The Digital Account Manager aids the team with all aspects of the account and account management. You will learn and operate Merkle processes and take heavy administrative burden off more senior account team members allowing them to focus on supervising client deliverables, as well as support all levels of the account team, clients, and vendors.
You are a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of audience behavior, analytics, and content marketing. You will work closely with the content, marketing, and product teams to develop and execute strategies that attract, retain, and engage our target audience.
You have experience growing audiences, increasing engagement, and driving conversions and have experience with identifying new opportunities for audience growth, testing new strategies, and optimizing existing ones. You will support the project management cycle by keeping and distributing meeting minutes, status reports, organizing project documentation and monitoring project statuses under the direction of account managers.
You will report to our Senior Client Director.
Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for tracking jobs, meeting coordination and scheduling, routing work activity through internal and external channels in partnership with account managers and supporting overall client needs. You help support both the internal Merkle team and clients for tactical delivery/or project status by ensuring marketing and support activities are completed.
- Assist the account team on all aspects of the account to assure execution of deliverables
- Demonstrate growing understanding and implementation of internal processes
- Develop and execute audience growth strategies across multiple platforms
- Analyze audience data to inform content and marketing strategies
- Collaborate with content, marketing, and product teams to align efforts
- Help implement client direct mail and email marketing campaigns
- Attend internal and client-facing status meetings and update status reports
- Provide support to the account management team, including development and organization of meeting materials
- Work with analytics tools to track performance and ROI
- Prepare and present reports to senior management
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a client-facing role
- Minimum 1 year experience in audience development or a similar role
- Building project plans and assisting with onboarding new clients
- Ability to analyze and interpret data to inform strategies
- Strong project management skills
- Data delivery, reporting, and analysis
- Tagging and interpreting tagged data
This position is remote friendly.
Additional Information
The anticipated salary range for this position is $51,000 - $83,375 /year.
Salary is based on a variety of factors including relevant experience, knowledge, skills and other factors permitted by law.
