Production Supervisor

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supervise shift while planning, producing, or shipping fiberglass products as scheduled
• Attain production or shipping goals as specified by the Plant Manager
• Motivate employees to give maximum effort in a professional manner
• Ensure that all safety procedures are being followed
• Maintain weekly employee attendance records
• Maintain accurate production, inventory, or shipping data
• Hold departmental meetings as needed to discuss updates and/or changes in company policies, procedures, goals, etc.
• Wear appropriate PPE 
• Comply with all NOV Company policies, guidelines, and procedures
• Comply with all HSE policies, guidelines, and procedures
• Comply with all Quality policies, guidelines, and procedures
• Other duties as assigned

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to work overtime and shift work as required
• Standing up to 12 hours daily
• Walking up to 12 hours daily
• Bending/Stooping up to 12 hours daily
• Repetitive Movement (shoveling/sweeping/fastening) up to 12 hours daily
• Lifting weights to 50 lbs. regularly
• Push/Pull up to 12 hours daily
• Travel less than 10%
• Ability to plan and work with computer-controlled equipment
• Understand complex manufacturing, shipping specifications
• Ability to adapt and be cross-trained to learn all job duties as required
• Ability to learn technical repair and assembly guidelines and procedures
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to read drawings, instructions, or perform repair and assembly operations  

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in all aspects of the manufacturing process
• A forklift license is preferred but not required
• Previous supervisor or management in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
