Position Overview:

Zenni is experiencing rapid growth and transformation, and we are currently seeking a talented Marketing Strategist to be in charge of the organization’s marketing Plans. This primarily involves developing and implementing go-to-market strategies to strengthen Zenni’s market presence.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced professional with an advertising, marketing or media agency background, passion for the job, and able to employ unique marketing techniques. This individual will be a skilled marketing strategist who can collaborate with brand, data, PR, growth, and product marketing teams and be able to drive creativity and enthusiasm in others.

What we want you to own in this role:

• Design and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to create awareness of the company’s business activities
• Provide guidance and feedback to other marketing professionals
• Plan and oversee the development of owned, earned and paid campaigns, launching of new product lines etc.
• Responsible for producing valuable content for the company’s online presence, editorial design and organizing the company’s publications
• Conduct general market research to keep abreast of trends and competitor’s marketing movements
• Control budgets and allocate resources amongst projects
• Become the organization’s agent towards external parties such as media, stakeholders and potential clients and build strategic partnerships
• Work with key stakeholders across owned channels to ensure cohesive content planning and integration including organic social and zenni.com

What skills do you need?

• Proven experience as Marketing Director
• Marketing, advertising or media agency experience
• E-commerce, Retail and/or CPG
• Excellent leadership and organizing skills
• Analytical and creative thinking
• Exquisite communication and interpersonal skills
• Up to speed with current and online marketing techniques and best practices
• Thorough knowledge of web analytics (e.g. Google Analytics, WebTrends etc.) and Google Adwords
• Customer-oriented approach with aptitude
• Professional chartered marketer (CIM) is a plus
• BS/BA in business administration, marketing and communications or relevant field

As of 01/01/2023, the expected salary range for this position is $160,00 to $200,00. Actual pay within this range will be based upon several factors, including without limitation education, work experience, certifications, geographic pay differentials, market conditions, and other business and organizational needs. The Company anticipates that the reasonably expected salary for this position could change in the future and, therefore, the Company retains the right to change, modify, or revisit the salary range for the position for various reasons, including the Company’s business needs.
