About the role

This role supports Oracle's cloud businesses and includes conducting contract negotiations, project management and contract lifecycle management in a dynamic, fast-paced and exciting business environment supporting Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. 

  • Manage complex contract negotiations supporting Data Center build-out and construction (tenant improvements) as well as Networking master contracts (focus on Legal terms). 
  • Negotiate country-specific agreements under a global master to implement local laws/regulations where necessary. 
  • Perform contract review and analysis to determine contract obligations, requirements and remedies. 
  • Assist in preparing and drafting contract and service order documents. 
  • Work cooperatively with internal stakeholders to meet business operation and cost objectives.

  • Knowledge of the Data Center and Telecommunication (network) industry.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to successfully build relationships and influence individuals both up and down the organizational hierarchy.
  • Ability to deal with potentially confrontational situations with patience, diplomacy and tact. 
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
  • Self-motivated to work independently to deliver positive business results.
  • Confidently and appropriately exercise sound judgment.
  • Ability to work effectively with both internal and external stakeholders on a regional, global, and/or virtual basis.

Responsibilities for this role include

  • Managing complex negotiations of legal terms in both global and country-specific contracts. 
  • Conducting gap analysis of existing versus new contracts with a supplier. 
  • Project managing the contract lifecycle from the beginning of a negotiation through to contract execution. 
  • Review of service orders under existing master contracts to ensure there are no deviations to governing terms. 
  • Successful relationship building with both key internal stakeholders and a variety of suppliers across multiple global regions. 
  • Ability to write executive level summaries seeking approval of key non-standard terms prior to contract execution.

US: Hiring Range: from $87,000 to $178,200 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
