Pathologists' Assistant- Full Time

MCCH seeks a Pathologists' Assistant for the Laboratory Department.  This a full time position working Monday-Friday working direclty with our Pathologist. This is a full time exempt position and It includes excellent benefits.

 Job Description:

Assist in performance of surgical pathology services. Work independently when performing professional duties associated with examination and/or preparations of the surgical pathology specimens, with general supervision of pathologist. No autopsies (fetal or adult) required. 

Minimum Education:

• Bacheolor's degree preferably in life sciences; biology or chemistry from an accredited institution
• Master's degree from an accredited Pathologist's assistant program
• Must be certified through the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP)

• Physical Exam
• Respirator Fit
