We create innovative luxurious products in the soft toy, accessory, baby and book categories that are loved around the world. As we continue to grow throughout North America, we continue to develop and improve the presence and awareness of our brand.

The Sr. Brand & Activation Manager will be creative and innovative while translating ideas into successful projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within the Jellycat brand guidelines. As brand and activation projects grow within the United States, its critical we have a local representative in place, driving the global vision, working closely with the Global Brand & Activation Director to manage projects and supporting the wider US team with delivering company objectives in this area.

You'll be:

Creative Strategy & Brand Execution

  • Working with the Brand & Activation Director to understand strategic objectives and determine creative solutions that answer each brief
  • Ensuring brand consistency across all touchpoints, merchandising, and activations that support Jellycat’s strategic goals
  • Aligning all activations with Jellycat’s brand guidelines and pillars while maintaining high-quality standards
  • Ideating and executing high-touch retail activations, pop-ups, and in-store moments that bring the brand to life and enhance consumer discovery
  • Directing visual projects, window rollouts, events, photoshoots, and videos
  • Creating visual guidelines, trend reports, styling packs, and presentation documents
Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
  • Liaising with brand and activation representatives at London HQ to achieve the company’s brand vision
  • Collaborating with the North America Events team on activation plans, budget scenarios, and project development across Global Brand Studio disciplines (Design, Copy, Video, Creative Development, and Operations)
  • Coordinating with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and creative, to ensure successful execution of brand projects
  • Bridging branding and sales to ensure stores are on-brand, providing additional branding material and guidance when necessary
  • Working directly with store representatives on brand projects
  • Championing cross-functional collaboration, ensuring seamless communication and alignment across teams, stakeholders, and global markets
Communication & Creative Leadership
  • Pitching innovative ideas confidently and presenting creative vision clearly to senior stakeholders, creatives, and team members
  • Working effectively in a team setting, including synthesizing abstract ideas into concrete design implications
  • Providing supervisory leadership, including team building and delegation, while supporting and collaborating with senior team members
Project Management & Problem-Solving
  • Managing budgets and timelines to ensure projects are delivered on time and within cost
  • Sourcing suppliers, partners, and manufacturers for brand-related projects, including POS
  • Working with external vendors and agencies to develop and implement brand activations, pop-ups, new store concepts, windows, and trade shows
  • Overseeing production for brand-related projects as needed
  • Prioritizing effectively, making sound and rapid commercial decisions, and focusing on key business objectives
  • Troubleshooting challenges in real time, pivoting activation strategies as needed, and managing last-minute creative changes seamlessly

You'll have:

  • 5 - 10 years of demonstrated experience in branding and activations
  • Experience reading and understanding technical drawings and 3D concepts (CAD)
  • The ability to deliver a consistent brand experience
  • A focused ability to prioritize, and make sound and rapid commercial decisions
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • A strong eye for detail and commercial awareness
  • A good eye for creativity and visual aesthetics
  • The ability to manage pressure and prioritize workloads
  • The capability to manage, motivate, and build strong relationships with partners
  • Strong project management skills
  • Merchandising skills to support multi-level stores
  • Experience in reporting and data analysis.
