Lead System Architect

Softrams is seeking to hire a talented Lead System Architect. The ideal candidate should be highly focused, detail oriented, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment. As a Lead System Architect on our team, you'll work with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid to provide technical support in the evaluation of HETS 270/271 transactions. Through your leadership, we’ll help the CMS use cloud-based systems to ensure adherence to applicable standards, HIPPA requirements, and analyzing large datasets.

The key responsibilities for this position include:

• Provides high-level architectural expertise to managers and technical staff.
• Develops architectural products and deliverables for the enterprise and operational business lines.
• Develops strategy of system and the design infrastructure necessary to support that strategy.
• Advises on selection of technological purchases with regards to processing, data storage, data access, and applications development.
• Advises of feasibility of potential future projects to management.
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional certification preferred. 

Required experience:

• Minimum of eight (8) years of experience in implementing large database and enterprise services solutions preferred.
• Maintains an active AWS certification; minimum of three (3) years of AWS Cloud Solutions and DevOps experience preferred.

Public Trust ClearanceThis role requires the hired candidate to go through public clearance. A minimum of 3 years of stay in the U.S. within the last 5 years is a must to be eligible to qualify for public trust clearance sponsorship.
