Collins Aerospace is seeking a highly motivated and talented Senior Software Engineer with a strong interest in the design, development and maintenance of full-stack AI-based enterprise applications to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about developing software solutions and solving complex problems, in support of the customer mission. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and validate software product(s).

What You Will Do:

• Develop and deploy full-stack, AI-based enterprise applications on the AI Platform
• Test, troubleshoot, and enhance customer software applications with and on behalf of customers
• Identify application performance bottlenecks and implement optimizations
• Conduct design and development reviews of customer software applications
• Write application specifications and documentation

Qualifications You Must Have:

• 5+ years of software development experience in object-oriented programming, data structures, algorithms and web application development.
• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience.

Qualifications We Prefer:

• 2+ years of software development experience with JavaScript and Python.
• Experience with Git or other software version control.
• 2+ years of experience working with JavaScript frameworks such as React, Redux, Vue, Backbone, or Angular.
• Experience deploying software to at least one of the leading cloud computing platforms (i.e., GCP, AWS, Azure).
• Advanced knowledge of solving problems with software.
