About the role

Holman is a family-owned, global automotive services organization anchored by our deeply rooted core values and principles that have enabled us to continue Driving What’s Right throughout the last century. Our teams deliver the Holman Experience by treating our customers and each other as we would like to be treated, and creating positive, rewarding relationships all around.

The automotive markets Holman serves include fleet management and leasing; vehicle fabrication and upfitting; component manufacturing and productivity solutions; powertrain distribution and logistics services; commercial and personal insurance and risk management; and retail automotive sales as one of the largest privately owned dealership groups in the United States.

We’re looking for an Apprentice Body Technician to join our team at the Holman Auto Center!

Who are we?

We repair primarily newer BMW, Lexus, and Tesla products using new factory parts, no used welded or structural components. We write an estimate that is designed to put the vehicle back to pre-loss condition regardless of the insurance carrier. There are multiple benefits when it comes to specializing in repairing the same types of vehicles, and since our techs are paid at a higher flat rate with plenty of work, the possibilities are endless!

We have the best reputation in our area and our business continues to grow! We are the only factory-authorized BMW & Lexus Certified Collision Center in the state!

What will you do?

The Apprentice Collision Technician is responsible for assisting in repairing various levels of collision damage on late model luxury vehicles. This position will use a wide variety of tools and OEM repair procedures to remove damaged parts, install new parts, repair scratches, dents and dings to meet OEM specifications.

What are we looking for?

  • Previous Trade School or Body Shop experience

  • Must have a valid driver’s license with excellent driving record

  • Strong organizational and excellent written/verbal communication skills

  • Maintain knowledge of vehicle body repair procedures

  • Read and understand manuals/computerized data and procedures on the make and model of the vehicle under repair

  • Ability to carefully and accurately read estimates, repair and fit auto body parts

  • Produce a high level of quality and craftsmanship

  • Complete paperwork accurately, completely, timely and legibly

  • Help ensure customer satisfaction

  • Communicate with department personnel

  • Reliable, punctual and dependable

Compensation: $21.85/hour
