Automotive Training Facilitator

We currently have an opportunity for an Automotive Training Facilitator to join our HR/Training Team! These training sessions will be in person and occasionally virtual.

SUMMARY:

The Automotive Training Facilitator will be expected to deliver hands on training sessions that will improve shop processes to elevate the customer experience, grow sales and meet safety regulations. The Automotive Training Facilitator will be expected to check supplies at each location visited and ensure proper tools are being used.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Hands on Training at Retail & Commercial locations for different roles/levels
• Candidate will be conducting training sessions for the following, among others:
  • GS101, Goodyear, ASE, TIA, Sales & Service, Hunter, Advanced Diagnostic, MSHA
• Work with L&D Manger to Coordinate hands on trainings
• Work with L&D Manager to Design training curriculum 
• Measure outcomes from trainings
• Discuss career path opportunities with employees and managers
• Inspect condition of tools and supplies at each location
• This role will include traveling to our New England sites, to assist with training and re-certification training to staff

REQUIREMENTS:

• Automotive Technician Experience 5+ Years required 
• A valid driver’s license
• Dependable transportation
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Self-motivated and enthusiastic, with strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to thrive in a high paced, complex team environment
• Team-player attitude
• Basic LMS knowledge preferably with Cornerstone
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, particularly as it relates to explaining both simple and complex technical concepts to non-technical users. Additionally, the ability to speak in front of both small and large audiences
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office suite products and other teleconferencing solutions (i.e. Microsoft Teams, Zoom, WebEx, etc.)
