As a Security Professional - Unarmed Logistics Patrol in Virginia Beach, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a logistics and distribution environment, you will be responsible for monitoring and patrolling assigned areas to help create a secure and welcoming atmosphere for everyone onsite. Your presence and routine patrols will help to deter security-related incidents while you remain approachable and ready to provide outstanding customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors. What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the logistics and distribution location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or access.
• Monitor and report any suspicious activity or potential hazards observed during patrols within the logistics and distribution environment.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of incidents, observations, and daily activities as required by Allied Universal and site protocols.
• Work collaboratively with site personnel and/or management to address security-related concerns and support operational continuity.
• Remain alert and attentive while on patrol to help to deter potential risks and contribute to a secure environment for employees and visitors.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
