About the role

Aleut Federal is seeking a Information Technology Requirements Coordinator (ITRC) who will be the vital link between the USSPACECOM Information Technology Portfolio Managers/Project Manager and Command customers. The ITRC ensures that all USSPACECOM service and equipment requirements are validated, prioritized, scheduled, and completed on time and within established quality parameters. The foregoing position description is not all-inclusive of the duties assigned to the employee. To ensure maximum flexibility and efficiency and to encourage cross training, employees will be assigned additional duties as deemed necessary. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Ability to learn the ServiceNow management tool to process customer requirements 
  • Practice configuration management as it applies to IT service management 
  • Be cognizant of requests that are being held up by the approval process and take necessary actions to expedite them
  • Determine if Customer Requests are routine or non-routine  
  • Efficiently prioritize and manage multiple requests to ensure timely approvals and implementations based on established parameters 
  • Brief each above baseline Customer Request to seek C4WG approval of Technical Solution & Cost (TS&C) prior to implementation
  • Create a variety of status reports 
  • Document and follow up on important actions and decisions from meetings
  • Understanding of project management principles to track and manage IT requests effectively
  • Attend planning and requirements meetings with IT staff, program manager and customers as required  
  • Collaborate with Technical Analyst, Project Coordinator, and customer during the validation phase  
  • Distinguish between baseline, baseline enhanced, and above baseline requests, understanding how to handle each specific type appropriately 
  • Obtain further information and justification for requests when needed and present this information effectively to a board for approval 
  • Verify user accounts using Active Directory to ensure they can obtain and access their requested devices
  • Have a working knowledge of different types of tickets and the ability to transfer and manage them efficiently 
  • Effectively search for and navigate through accounts and tickets on ServiceNow 
  • Organize, prepare, and lead meetings to discuss IT requests and related issues 
  • Offer timely updates on the status of tickets when requested by stakeholders
  • Ability to clearly communicate with stakeholders, including IT staff, management, and end-users 
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues that arise during the approval and implementation process 
  • Familiarity with various IT systems and technologies beyond just Active Directory and ServiceNow, such as networking basics and software development lifecycle 
  • Proficient in documenting processes, decisions, and communications related to IT requests
  • Ensuring that all aspects of a request are thoroughly considered and documented
  • Focused on providing excellent service to internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to mediate disputes between departments or individuals regarding IT requests
  • Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements relevant to IT operations
  • Commitment to continuously improving processes and procedures for handling IT requests

Requirements:  

  • Current Top-Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility 
  • Must be able to work full day on-site during regular business hours 
  • One (1) to three (3) years of experience working on IT projects 
  • Competency with Microsoft Office applications 
  • Ability to work with tight deadlines 
  • Sound technical knowledge 
  • Excellent Communication\Verbal Skills 
  • Experience working as part of a team 
  • Experience in planning and schedule management 
  • Experience as a team leader 
  • Excellent organizational management skills 
  • Experience with multi-tasking

Preferred: 

  • Military and/or government experience a plus 
  • ITIL certification a plus 
  • ServiceNow Certifications a plus 

Locations:  

  • This position will be expected to perform duties at any customer facilities within Colorado Springs. 

Rate: 

  • $85K-$110K
