Hospice Aide

Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated PRN Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to nursing staff and assist patients in their daily activities, ensuring a high standard of care. This role is crucial in delivering quality patient care and enhancing the overall patient experience.

Duties

• Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
• Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure.
• Help with catheter care and other personal hygiene needs.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients by following infection control protocols.
• Document patient information accurately in electronic health records as required.
• Travel to patients homes and provide care for patients on Hospice

Qualifications:

• Certification as a Nursing Assistant in the state you are applying
• Experience in Hospice, Home Health, Long-term care
• Basic life support certification is required.
• Experience using electronic health record systems
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
• Compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others.
