Grand Villa of Deerfield Beach is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Activities Assistant to join our team. This full-time position is ideal for individuals who have a genuine love for seniors and a passion for enhancing their quality of life through engaging therapeutic activities. As an Activities Assistant, you will play a vital role in creating a positive and enriching environment for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in planning, organizing, and implementing therapeutic activities for seniors.

- Foster a supportive and engaging atmosphere that encourages participation and social interaction.

- Collaborate with the activities coordinator to develop programs that meet the diverse needs and interests of residents.

- Provide one-on-one support to residents during activities, ensuring their comfort and enjoyment.

- Monitor and document residents' participation and feedback to help improve future activities.

- Maintain a safe and clean environment for all activities.

Skills and Qualifications:

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

- Compassionate and patient demeanor when working with seniors.

- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

- Creative thinking and problem-solving skills to adapt activities as needed.

- Previous experience in a similar role or working with seniors is a plus, but not required.

- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
