Job Summary:
Join the Sales & Order Operations team where you can advance your career skills and work experience at Ansys. The SOOS Intern will be part of the Deal Operations organization and the successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with the end to end process for renewal and new sales, partnering with Sales and SOOS to support sales cycle and business objectives, and assisting with projects as outlined by Senior Management.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Sales Cycle and Related Workflow Responsibilities
- Ability to perform research on customer and prospect accounts for account hierarchy and deduping projects.
- Prepare quote proposals, legal forms, and licensing requests and expedite orders.
- Act as a contact for Ansys customer needs; responding to questions on order status, account issues; license configuration etc. for all new and renewal software orders.
- Revenue activities: Running renewal reports for SOOS team, Reconciling, tracking opportunities
- Research historical accounts, product order history, discounting and/or special pricing situations to help with quote proposal generation as needed
- Analyze all outgoing and incoming paperwork such as purchase orders for compliance
- Support account administration activities including completion of supplier Corporate Data forms, prepare and distribute License and ASC changes, Name change form, Transfers and Assignments including securing required approvals and submit required paperwork to Business Operations.
- In accordance with current policies, create temporary and evaluation license keys appropriate for distribution to prospects and customers.
- CRM Data maintenance and administration including account reassignments, contract consolidation, return and rebill requests, and clean up efforts.
- Will also perform related projects as assigned by their Manager.
Minimum Education/ Preferred Qualifications and Skills
- Has a Bachelors degree or working toward degree in business or accounting or related field
- Experience in a sales operations ,sales support, finance or legal support role, customer service environment or similar position in a corporate setting helpful.
- Strong teamwork and customer service oriented
- Highly motivated and results driven; copes effectively with complexity and change
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build strong relationships
- Demonstrates good judgement in problem solving and issue escalation
- Ability to handle confidential information
- Must be organized and detail oriented
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast paced, deadline-driven environment
