Business Area (BA) Markets’ role in Vattenfall is to maximize the value of the overall portfolio by optimizing and dispatching, hedging, and sourcing for Vattenfall's sales and generation volumes. (Senior) Energy Trading Market Access Software Specialist / 2nd Level Support

in the Energy Trading and Risk Management (ETRM) Market Access & Intraday Solutions team.

Market Access enables business in BA Markets through timely and sustainable delivery of application development and support in the area of Energy Trading. You will be responsible for our Market Access applications, from system analyses and daily support to change management. This includes the coordination of external software suppliers, configuration management, follow-up on market changes, and on-the-floor trader support.

Your key responsibilities:

• Direct interaction with traders, software vendors, and IT departments in Vattenfall
• Provide technical support and resolve problems for our trading business
• Enable trade execution for traders and automate trading processes in close collaboration with the application vendor
• Monitor, analyze, and fix the Front Office IT system landscape
• Continuous improvements on our landscape and way of working are strong drivers of our daily work
• Contribute actively to the SCRUM events of the agile & DevOps team and adhere to the established SCRUM framework

Qualifications

Your Profile as Senior ETRM Market Access Software Specialist / 2nd Level Support

• University degree in Business and Information Technology, Engineering, or another related field
• Significant working experience with overall IT support and operations
• Strong analytical skills
• Experience with Front Office support in any type of trading environment
• Experience with marketplace connectivity, complex IT network architecture, and low latency communication is required, including the systems being supported: E*Star Energy Trading Solution, Trading Technologies, and Trayport
• Experience with supporting news & data provider infrastructure from LSEG (formerly Reuters/Refinitiv) and Bloomberg is required<
