Shipping & Receiving Associate

Job Summary

Position is responsible for all products leaving the facility and ensuring they meet Boyd and our customer requirements for quality and timeliness.

Essential Job Responsibilities

• Inspects and prepares package/products in accordance with job ticket instructions and to ensure accuracy.
• Packs, seals and generates labels and all necessary documentation such as shipping instructions.
• Determine best method of shipping for materials using knowledge of shipping procedures, best practices as well as established process.
• Ensure weights and shipping charges are correct in the computer system.
• Maintains accurate inventory of shipping materials and communicates appropriately to ensure adequate supplies at all times.
• Communicate with shipping carriers and agents for issue resolution.
• Maintains schedule and ensure products are shipped on a timely manner.
• Ensure work area is clean after shift assignments are completed.
• Other duties as assigned

Pay: $25 to $28 per hour
