As we continue to grow, we are looking for experienced and highly motivated Principal Program Managers to drive change at scale across our Infrastructure Delivery team. 

 

The Principal Program Manager will manage and support infrastructure design, build and deployment of data center facilities at scale across the globe. The role comes with a high degree of personal accountability and autonomy and will require effective engagement across Engineering, Operations, and Product Management.

The successful candidate will be a skilled Program Manager with accountability for overseeing and driving technical programs across OCI and Oracle; this is a highly visible role that requires technical depth, strong program management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a program framework
  • Strong technical knowledge, familiarity with IT infrastructure, network technologies, design engineering 
  • Effective communication skills with all levels of management
  • Take large, complex projects and break them down into manageable milestones and deliver against tight deadlines
  • Gather complex, sometimes unstructured, data inputs from multiple sources (both internally and externally) and identify new data sources that will enhance business outcomes and support strategic and tactical objectives
  • Anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make tradeoffs, and balance the business needs versus technical constraints.
  • Build relationships and collaborate globally with stakeholders and partners to deliver outcomes across the organization, ensuring a shared understanding of progress and performance
  • Ensure that stated and unstated goals, business issues, concerns and priorities are surfaced and understood

Nice to Have

  • Experience/background in data center build and networking technologies
  • Working knowledge of scripting language for JIRA & Confluence automation would be a plus
  • Higher-level skills in project management tools using MS Project online would be a plus
  • PMP or other Project/Program Management industry certification(s).
  • Certified Scrum Master, Product Owner or other agile certification.
  • Cloud Certification(s) (OCI).

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $115,700 to $189,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
