About the Role
We are looking for a Data Engineer – Enterprise Data Support who will play a critical role in ensuring smooth operations across enterprise data platforms. This role requires strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills to simplify complex issues, manage data-related incidents, and collaborate with technical teams for long-term solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor, manage, and resolve Jira tickets related to enterprise and reference data issues.
- Conduct initial triage of issues, assess severity/urgency, and assign to the right teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve problems.
- Provide regular stakeholder communication and updates on issue resolution.
- Document troubleshooting steps and build a knowledge base for recurring problems.
- Work with L3/engineering teams on root cause analysis and long-term fixes.
- Support data integrity, governance, and accuracy across systems.
- Participate in recurring operational review meetings and progress updates.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Finance, or related field.
- 5–7 years of experience in data engineering, data operations, or enterprise data support.
- Strong knowledge of data management concepts and data troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with Jira or other ticketing systems.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Exposure to BI/analytics platforms (e.g., MicroStrategy) is a plus.
- Experience with ThinkFolio, Aladdin, or similar platforms is advantageous.
Education Requirements List:-
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or a directly related field
