Description
The UM-Flint School of Nursing is seeking to hire two adjunct clinical lecturers for fall 2025 to teach NUR 435 (Synthesis of Nursing Knowledge and Practice). Adjunct lecturers will work in collaboration with lead faculty. The fall 2025 semester begins on August 20, 2025.
Course Description: Synthesis of knowledge with practice as students provide care for a group of clients under the guidance of a preceptor in a hospital setting. Clinical faculty direct learning experiences tailored to students' needs. Students present cases and use nursing and other theories to support their evidence-based nursing practice. Emphasis on critical thinking, proactive clinical judgment, self-assessment, inquiry, and the role and responsibilities of the professional nurse.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
BSN Required; Master of Science in Nursing preferred;
Recent experience working in an in-patient unit;
Registration to practice nursing in Michigan with an unrestricted license or eligible to apply
