Part-time Instructional Law - Behind the Bench

Salary/Position Classification

• $1,250 contract, Non-Exempt (Eligible for overtime)
• 5 hours per week
• This position will work onsite the Grand Forks, ND campus.

Purpose of Position

The purpose of this position is to provide effective co-teaching in the area of judicial procedures at the University of North Dakota School of Law.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Effective co-teaching in the area of judicial procedures.

Required Competencies

• Ability to work collaboratively with faculty and staff colleagues
• Eagerness to work closely with law students
• Ability to teach in the curricular area of interest
• Ability to work and collaborate in a diverse, multicultural, and inclusive setting

Minimum Requirements

• J.D. degree from an ABA-accredited law school
• Licensed member in good standing of the bar in any U.S. or Canadian jurisdiction
• 3 year's working as a North Dakota judge
• Experience with the federal judiciary
• Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check
