About the role
Salary/Position Classification
- $1,250 contract, Non-Exempt (Eligible for overtime)
- 5 hours per week
- This position will work onsite the Grand Forks, ND campus.
Purpose of Position
The purpose of this position is to provide effective co-teaching in the area of judicial procedures at the University of North Dakota School of Law.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Effective co-teaching in the area of judicial procedures.
Required Competencies
- Ability to work collaboratively with faculty and staff colleagues
- Eagerness to work closely with law students
- Ability to teach in the curricular area of interest
- Ability to work and collaborate in a diverse, multicultural, and inclusive setting
Minimum Requirements
- J.D. degree from an ABA-accredited law school
- Licensed member in good standing of the bar in any U.S. or Canadian jurisdiction
- 3 year's working as a North Dakota judge
- Experience with the federal judiciary
- Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check
