We offer a hybrid 3-2 work schedule (three days in the office, two days of teleworking) to accommodate the need for flexibility.

Job Summary

Dominion Energy is looking for an Associate, Mid, or Senior Financial Analyst to join the team in Richmond, VA. There is one position which will be filled at the level commensurate with the successful candidate's education, experience, knowledge skills, and abilities.

This role supports the development and maintenance of company's consolidated budget/forecast as well as corporate strategy. Develops and leads financial analysis around key capital allocation decisions. Works with senior management to develop and monitor corporate strategy. Supports budget development and consolidation process.

 

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience

Minimum Requirements (Note: A partial year of related work experience of 6 months or greater will be considered one year towards the qualifications):

• Associate Financial Analyst: A minimum of 0- 3+ years of financial or related experience is required. 
• Financial Analyst: A minimum of 3+ years of financial or related experience is required. (Note:  A Master’s degree will count as one year of experience. A partial year of six months or more experience will be rounded up to one full year).
• Senior Financial Analyst: A minimum of 5+ years of financial or related experience is required. (Note:  A Master’s degree will count as one year of experience. A partial year of six months or more experience will be rounded up to one full year).

 

Additional Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: 

• Excellent leadership; organizational; interpersonal; verbal and written communication, team work, analytical and customer focus skills
• Requires ability to work under limited supervision and direction.
• Demonstrated expertise in consolidated financial planning and analysis; capital allocation; project financial analysis understanding of accounting, tax and financing principles.
• Extensive knowledge of Excel and Power Point.
• Aptitude for continuous learning.

Education Requirements

Degree or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education: Bachelor
