THE JOB

As a Master Cook at L'Atelier, your role involves executing culinary techniques and preparing dishes under the guidance and instruction of the Chef. You will also set the stage for guest dining experience with your welcoming smile and service. By understanding their unique stories and needs, you will own their dining experience to create WOW memories they will carry with them far and beyond their stay with us.   

THE STARTING PAY: $29.3426 hourly

THE DAY TO DAY 

• Uphold the outstanding quality of the Robuchon brand through your culinary expertise 

• Demonstrate your culinary passion by skillfully preparing a variety of menu items, adhering to established recipes and quality standards 

• Ensure guest safety by following proper food handling procedures  

• Comply with occupational, health and safety standards, ensure food is stored and kept at proper holding temperatures through the use of thermometers  

• Follow methods of food preparation, cooking, portion size, mixing of sauces, and garnishing of foods to ensure food is prepared in an approved manner as prescribed by the Chef, Executive Sous Chef, and Sous Chef   

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

• At least 1 year of previous experience as a cook, preferably in a fine dining kitchen

• Ability to work varied shifts, including holidays and weekends  

• Familiarity with the dynamics of working in a resort or casino environment, adept at managing high-energy guest interactions.

• Takes pride in their work, provides a safe environment, and maintains health standards  

• Collaborates effectively with teammates  

• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
