Senior Forecasting Excellence Manager

Tasks & responsibilities

• As a Senior Forecasting Excellence Manager, you will be responsible for developing and overseeing a unified process for strategic forecasting. This includes market, pipeline, inline, and launch forecasts across all Animal Health business segments. 
• You will initiate and constantly enhance process interfaces across various Animal Health functions such as Marketing, Strategy, Sales, R&D and Finance.
• Your role will involve engaging with stakeholders of varying seniority levels to ensure compliance with established standards for strategic forecasting. 
• In collaboration with colleagues from Data, Analytics & Insights, you will manage the central strategic forecasting model landscape.
• You will provide regular updates and reports on forecasting trends and outcomes to senior management. 
• Additionally, you will identify potential risks and opportunities in the strategic forecasting process and propose appropriate solutions.
• As the go-to expert for daily forecasting matters, you will support our colleagues in Animal Health. 

 

Requirements

• Master's degree or equivalent experience in fields such as Economics, Life Sciences, Computer Sciences, or Statistics
• Long-term professional industry experience, ideally within Animal Health across the value chain 
• Demonstrated experience in analyzing and interpreting complex data to drive strategic decisions
• A solid grasp of strategic forecasting in the pharmaceutical industry, with a preference for experience in Animal Health
• Profound knowledge of key functions and processes within the Animal Health sector
• Demonstrated strong understanding of business processes and governance, with the ability to design, implement, and oversee effective strategies to enhance operational efficiency and compliance
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to simplify complex technical subjects for a non-technical audience
