Responsibilities

As a Financial Accounting & Controlling Senior Analyst at Dialectica you will be:

  • Overseeing and ensuring accuracy of the general ledger.
  • Managing month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Reviewing and verifying financial transactions for accuracy and compliance.
  • Ensuring proper documentation and approval of transactions.
  • Performing regular reconciliations of accounts, such as bank reconciliations, and resolving discrepancies.
  • Managing fixed asset accounting, including capitalization, depreciation, and disposals.
  • Assisting FP&A team in the preparation of budgets and forecasts and in monitoring of budgetary controls and variance analysis.
  • Implementing and maintaining internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure financial accuracy.
  • Ensuring compliance with internal policies and procedures.
  • Preparing and presenting financial statements, including balance sheet, income statements, cash flow statements and supportive management analysis/ IFRS disclosures
  • Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.
  • Leveraging technology and automation tools for better financial management.

Requirements

  • BSc degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics
  • 4-7 years of work experience, ideally combining Corporate Accounting/ Controlling and audit
  • Professional qualification (ACCA, ACA, etc) would be considered a plus
  • Sound knowledge of accounting principals
  • Comfortable dealing with numbers and processing of financial information
  • Fluency in English
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office (particularly Excel)
  • High degree of attention to detail and trustworthiness
  • Ability to coordinate with various teams
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Problem-solving attitude
  • Proactiveness and self-motivation
