JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Penn State’s Office of Strategic Communications (the University’s central news, public relations, and marketing division) is looking for a student to fill a part-time internship in University Licensing from summer 2024 through spring semester 2025. The internship offers $12 per hour, requires no more than 20 hours per week, and combines a flexible schedule of in-office and remote working.

The person in this position will work with the Penn State Licensing team to:

• Incorporate official licensed products on Penn State’s main social channels.
• Provide research on current market trends.
• Help categorize and tag past licensing artwork to gain insight into sales and market trends.
• Assist with infringement efforts by performing searches of online sellers.

Applicable Skills:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.)
• Knowledge of Canva and Photoshop

Our ideal candidate will be self-driven, organized, and detail oriented. Experience with social media platforms is a plus.
