Senior IT Business Analyst

We are continuously growing and we are looking for a professional to join our UniQue Brussels team.</p><p>In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our customers in the public sector and you will be responsible for developing new business by identifying profitable opportunities, maintaining your client portfolio by building strong, long-lasting relationships, and monitoring the progress of the projects, with the aim to provide excellent client service and added value services.</p><p>What will you be bringing to the team?</p><ul> <li>Analyze and document business requirements</li> <li>Analyze the business model and business processes</li> <li>Assist in creating business cases, vision documents, project charters, and security plans</li> <li>Model business processes</li> <li>Analyze functional requirements and business cases</li> <li>Analyze risks</li> </ul><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><p>What do you need to succeed in this position?</p><p>Master + 9 years or Bachelor + 13 years of IT professional experience </p><ul> <li>Good knowledge of information systems matters</li> <li>Good knowledge of large organisation administrative business processes</li> <li>Good knowledge of analysis/modelling tools and techniques (use case diagram, state diagram, entity relationship model, interaction diagrams etc.);</li> <li>Good knowledge of BPMN or UML or other with equivalent value</li> <li>Good knowledge of Wiki and collaborative site;</li> <li>Knowledge of software development methodologies (e.g. RUP, Agile)</li> <li>Experience with relational databases</li> <li>Experience in web technologies</li> <li>Experience in UX analysis</li> <li>Strong capacity in preparing and writing business analysis</li> <li>Capability to speak to business and technical audiences</li> <li>Strong capacity to give high level presentations</li> <li>Excellent critical thinker, by using logic and reasoning to identify strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions</li> <li>Ability to apply high quality standards</li> <li>Ability to apply high quality standards in the IS quality control procedures</li> <li>Ability to participate in multi-lingual meetings, excellent communicator</li> <li>Capability of working in an international/multicultural environment</li> </ul>
