ContiTech USA, LLC 

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

Join our team in Halstead, KS, and contribute to the production of high-quality products in a dynamic manufacturing environment. We are seeking motivated Production Operators who are eager to learn, grow, and make an impact.

YOUR TASKS:

  • Machine Operation: Operate Calender Machines, Mills, and other equipment efficiently and safely. Promptly report any issues to your Department Head or Supervisor using established communication protocols.
  • Production Reporting: Accurately complete daily production reports, including those related to productivity, quality control holds, material usage, and material movement.
  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols, corporate policies, and internal procedures. Seek clarification from your Department Head or Supervisor when needed.
  • Continuous Improvement: Actively enhance your understanding of work orders, products, and processes. Participate in initiatives to improve safety, quality, productivity, and cost efficiency. Engage in internal and external training opportunities.

THE ENVIRONMENT

  • 2nd (B) Shift: Tuesday through Friday, 3:30 pm to 1:30 am with overtime as needed.
  • Safety is our highest priority and safety procedures / guidelines must be always adhered to. This includes safety shoes that are composite or steel toe at all times. Other required PPE includes, but is not limited to safety glasses, hearing protection and hand protection.  
  • The job is within a non-climate-controlled environment where you will be exposed to temperature swings (hot/cold), forklift and pedestrian traffic, and noise.
  • The role involves various physical tasks, including lifting and operating machinery, with comprehensive training provided.

 

    Qualifications

     WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE

    • Intermediate computer skills required
    • High School Diploma or GED preferred 
    • Strong attention to detail is critical, as defects in cured products can be challenging to repair.
    • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions precisely.
    • Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
    • Manufacturing or production experience is a plus, but we are willing to train motivated individuals.
    • Experience operating machinery and forklifts is preferred.
    • Commitment to teamwork and a desire to contribute to the company’s growth and success.
    • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.
    • No relocation assistance is offered for this position.

    ADDITIONAL WAYS TO STAND OUT

    • Have more than 1+ years experience in manufacturing position 
    • High School Diploma or GED
    • Forklift and/ or Crane operating experience
