Job Description

The Automotive Electronics (AE) division develops new electronic control units (e.g. for combustion engines, comfort functions, airbags) and a wide range of sensors (e.g. for battery charge state, inertial, yaw-rate, pressure, NOx) in close cooperation with manufacturing. These products are engineered to a state of the art level both in technology and reliability and are to be found in cars of a very large group of manufacturers.

Within our organization we develop power electronics for the e-mobility solutions of Bosch. With the help of Si, SiC, GaN semiconductor technologies our power modules enable the Bosch inverters/converters to be efficient and reliable. In our team you can directly contribute to a greener future with the increased power and fun of e-mobility.

Your contribution to something big:

As team leader:

► Responsible for 5-10 electrical engineers (including: quality of the work and people management)

► Ensure the operation of a characterization laboratory

► Build further the team and the lab according to the roadmap

► Face to the customer in difficult situations

As developer:

► Responsible for Electrical Development of power semiconductors modules, based on MOSFET, IGBT or SiC Technology

► Ensure electrical performance of power components from 100W up to 200kW for automotive applications such as power modules for (hybrid) electric cars

► Contribute to continues improvement of unique semiconductor measurement systems

► Optimization of test specification including release of new test programs, test automation

► Work actively in multidisciplinary teams together with chip/module developers and ECU customers to develop optimized power circuits with innovative /intelligent power semiconductor components

Qualifications

What distinguishes you?

►  Degree in Electrical Engineering

►  At least three years working experience in the areas of semiconductor testing or hardware development or power semiconductor development

►  Self-motivated, result oriented, team player with strong desire for continuous learning

►  Fluent English communication and presentation skills, German is beneficial

►  Leadership experience is beneficial

►  Experience in electrical laboratory is beneficial

►  Experience with Matlab and/or LabView (or software development) are beneficial
