Job Purpose
Prepares and serves a variety of nutritious meals; supervises and works with the New Life Program participants in support of preparing and serving meals to incoming guests.

Setting the standard of quality, providing staff with feedback, coaching, guidance, and support.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Treats customers with dignity and respect.
- Prepares, cooks, and serves a variety of foods.
- Tracks meal counts, intern timecards, and community service hours.
- Performs orientation for interns and volunteers.
- Supervises the New Life Program participants, volunteers, and interns in a limited food preparation assignment and creates mutually beneficial experiences.
- Receives and stores food and supplies.
- Uses good general housekeeping techniques.
- Cleans and sanitizes all food service equipment on a daily basis.
- Cleans and sanitizes freezers and refrigerators as needed.
- Cleans work areas, floors, windows, walls, storage rooms, and receiving areas weekly.
- Performs preventative maintenance on kitchen equipment.
- Performs other duties as assigned to support others and ensure an efficient and effective work environment.
Working Conditions
Works well under pressure, able to respond calmly and effectively when under stress, and interacts with people from diverse backgrounds. Some travel between locations.

- Saturday 5am - 1:30pm
- Sunday 10am - 6:30pm
- Monday & Tuesday 11am-7pm
- Wednesday 10am - 6:30pm
