Join us in our mission to provide comprehensive support to those navigating the challenges of cancer treatment.</p> <p><strong>Position Overview</strong></p> <p>The Ultrasound Technologist is responsible for operating ultrasound and non-invasive vascular equipment to perform diagnostic imaging procedures. This role ensures the delivery of safe, accurate, and high-quality imaging, and requires excellent technical proficiency, professionalism, and a patient-focused approach.</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Perform ultrasound examinations as outlined in the Radiology/Ultrasound Procedure Guide</li> <li>Monitor and assess patient condition, document findings accurately and promptly</li> <li>Provide education and guidance to team members and promote collaborative practice</li> <li>Ensure optimal image quality by conducting equipment checks and adjustments</li> <li>Participate in ongoing quality improvement and maintain accreditation standards (ICAVL, AIUM)</li> <li>Operate RIS/PACS systems competently within job scope</li> <li>Maintain inventory of supplies and ensure readiness of the imaging environment</li> <li>Participate in department meetings and support team communication</li> <li>Stay current with continuing education requirements to enhance skills and maintain certification</li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p> <p><strong>Education & Experience</strong></p> <ul> <li>Completion of an educational pathway approved by ARDMS</li> <li><strong>Preferred:</strong> Graduate of a CAAHEP or CMA-approved ultrasound/vascular technology program</li> </ul> <p><strong>Licensure & Certification</strong></p> <ul> <li>Certification and registration as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS) in Abdomen, OB/GYN, or Vascular Technology</li> <li>Must obtain ARDMS certification within 12 months of hire if not already held</li> <li>BLS certification required</li> <li><strong>Preferred:</strong> Certification and registration as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)</li> </ul> <p><strong>Skills & Abilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Proficient in performing diagnostic ultrasound exams</l
